• If I can't explain it, I don't understand it yet
• Notes are for future me, not for a blog calendar
• Teaching something is how it actually sticks

Tools should disappear

• The best developer experience is the one you stop noticing
• Complexity has to earn its place
• Personal software is allowed to be weird and small

Lead by doing

• Titles are optional; showing the work is not
• Hire for taste and curiosity, then get out of the way
• Be the person who writes it down when nobody else will
